'Arthurian legend states the White Hart has a perennial ability to evade capture, and the pursuit of the animal represents mankind’s spiritual quest. For me the quest is a creative one, I wanted to honour the creative journey, and remind myself and others that the search for fulfilling a creative urge never really ends, the flow just comes and goes. There is solace in the knowledge that perfection is impossible, yet still always worth seeking!'

Original two colour woodblock print, taken directly from the inked up hand carved wood block. Printed in metallic gold and black oil based ink on Canson mi teintes paper.
